He also helps develop the organization’s Middle East aerospace and defense sector and is an active member of the PwC Central Cluster Operations Leadership Team. Hassan has industry and management consulting experience spanning supply chain strategy, operations cost reduction, manufacturing optimization, large-scale change management, and aftermarket service operations.
Youssef Kenawy, CSCP Founder and Chief Executive Officer | Just Supply Chain Youssef Kenawy has more than 20 years of supply chain experience with numerous global corporations. His recent roles include Middle East and North Africa supply chain director for Bel Group, Maersk Logistics’ head of Eastern Mediterranean supply chain development, and supply chain and logistics optimization manager at Schwan Food Company. Kenawy also is director of the Supply Chain Council Middle East and North Africa Chapter and a SCOR instructor.
Karl Klaesius, CPIM President | APICS Supply Chain Council Karl Klaesius is the president of the APICS Supply Chain Council and owner of KS&E Enterprises, an operations management education and training consultancy. Prior to his current work with project and strategic management consultation, he worked in nuclear power production for more than 25 years. Klaesius has been an active APICS member for more than 20 years, serving as a local Chapter president; Director of Leadership for the former APICS Region 7; and Secretary Treasurer, Chair-Elect, and 2010 Chair on the APICS board of directors.

In addition, his supply chain roles and practice include posts at Unilever Mashreq and Olympic Group, where he served at several different operational and strategic levels. Shalaby also has considerable experience working with the Supply Chain Council, having served as chairman for the Middle East and North Africa regions for two years.
Michael Wasson, CSCP Director of DSD Planning Solutions | Coca Cola Michael Wasson, CSCP, is director of DSD planning solutions at Coca Cola. He is responsible for leading the planning solutions function, developing and implementing processes in order to optimize cost structure, and creating an effective demand-driven supply chain. Wasson’s teams support more than 350 sales and distribution centers that handle 1.9 million routes, 8 million merchandising visits, and 21 million deliveries of 1.8 billion cases of Coca-Cola product annually to 475,000 customer outlets.
Jason Wheeler, CPIM, CSCP Process Improvement Engineer | Roche Diagnostics Jason Wheeler is a process improvement engineer at Roche Diagnostics. His role includes leadership of several cross-functional teams. Wheeler previously worked for Red Gold for nine years and served in various roles including production supervisor, inventory analyst, and master planner. He has been an active member of APICS since 2002, having served on the board of directors for the past three years, Great Lakes District Staff, the 2007 Chapter Development Committee, and the 2009 and 2010 Conference Committees.
