Researchers report that, in 2011, a supply chain disruption occurred at 85 percent of companies—many of which were unprepared for the severe impact. This presentation will outline a comprehensive supply chain risk management process and detail how to achieve greater visibility, improved service levels, and heightened competitive advantage. Attendees will hear case studies that illustrate how to monitor and track in real time incidents that may affect the end-to-end supply chain. Also included will be examples of best practices for identifying, measuring, preventing, transferring, and monitoring risks.

This educational session qualifies as RME2 Political Uncertainty and Risk Considerations as part of the APICS Risk Management certificate program.
