Chicago, Ill. (January 1, 2010)—APICS The Association for Operations Management, the global leader in supply chain and operations management certification, education, and membership, announced today Karl Klaesius, CPIM, CSCP, as the chair of the 2010 APICS Board of Directors.
Klaesius has worked in nuclear power production for more than 24 years. His career has included responsibility for instrumentation maintenance and supply chain management at a nuclear power plant. He is also an active APICS member serving as an APICS chapter president as well as director of leadership for APICS Region 7. Klaesius holds the APICS Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) and the APICS Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) certifications. His varied speaking experience includes multiple professional development conferences and meetings including the APICS International Conference & Expo. Klaesius is an APICS instructor.
