Fundamentals of Materials and Operations Management (Fundamentals)
The Fundamentals program delivers the tools needed to master the basics of materials and operations management. Participants gain a solid understanding of inventory control, planning, manufacturing control, and operations management.

Introduction to Enterprise Resources Planning (ERP)
Introduction to ERP is ideal for ERP project managers, consultants employed as ERP integrators, and organizations beginning an ERP implementation. The Introduction to ERP course enables participants to determine if their organization is ready for ERP.

Just-in-Time: Lean Operating Principles and Techniques (JIT)
The JIT course is ideal for manufacturing and service-based organizations that seek to eliminate waste, reduce lead times, and improve quality to zero defects. The JIT course includes group work and end-of-session quizzes.

Workshops
Continuing demand for training in all aspects of the APICS body of knowledge provides instructors with an opportunity to reach new students and expand course offerings beyond certification review. These specialized workshops are ideal for in-house company seminars or chapter workshops. The CD-ROM for each workshop contains instructor presentations composed of professionally developed slides with instructor notes and exercises. Participant guides are available for each workshop.

Applied Manufacturing Education Series (AMES)
APICS no longer offers the AMES program.  APICS does offer a similar program, Fundamentals of Materials and Operations Management, which delivers the tools needed to master the basics of materials and operations management.  If you’re interested in an introductory-level course, Fundamentals may be the right fit for you.
