APICS is in the final stages of planning the forthcoming APICS Global Exam Delivery (GED) deployment, which will move to computer-based testing worldwide. To help achieve higher satisfaction rates and optimal testing results for all of our exam candidates, APICS is retaining Pearson VUE as its sole North American testing vendor and Prometric to exclusively provide computer-based format testing for exam candidates outside of North America.
APICS has worked with Pearson VUE successfully for several years across North America, and we are confident that they will continue to provide optimal testing services as our sole provider in this region. Beginning in Q4 2013, APICS CSCP and CPIM exam candidates in North America will be required to obtain an Authorization to Test from APICS in order to schedule an exam with Pearson VUE.
Authorizations will be issued through the completion of an online Authorization to Test request form. Additionally, APICS chapters will be able to sell exam credits to their member and nonmember exam candidates to simplify this process.
Outside of North America, APICS has selected Prometric to exclusively provide computer-based format testing for exam candidates. This is part of our ongoing commitment to streamline our services across all markets and provide as much scheduling flexibility as possible. This decision is aimed at providing a more successful certification experience in a more sustainable format.
