    APICS, Deloitte and the Manufacturing Institute Release Latest Findings on Women in Manufacturing


    APICS Supply Chain Council (APICS SCC) announced the latest survey findings from a collaborative industry report completed by APICS SCC, Deloitte and The Manufacturing Institute. Minding the Manufacturing Gender Gap: How manufacturers can get their fair share of talented women report compiled feedback from more than 600 women across manufacturing roles to provide insight into best practices for attracting, retaining and advancing women in manufacturing careers.

    APICS SCC Study Defines People and Partner Impact on Supply Chain Complexity


    APICS Supply Chain Council (APICS SCC) released its latest industry report that sheds further insight on the intersection of supply chains and complexity theory. Complexity Theory, Sentiment and Supply Chain Organizational Behavior discusses the human perspective and the individual and trading partner relationships that are sometimes not sufficiently visible in supply chain management.

    New APICS SCC Report Defines the Next Generation Supply Chain Leader


    APICS Supply Chain Council (APICS SCC) released findings from its latest industry report, Supply Chain Leadership Report: Many Styles Generate Success, which examines critical success factors of a supply chain leader, including his or her attributes, leadership style and ability to formally and informally influence a multitude of stakeholders. Compiled from multiple sources, including surveys of APICS members, articles and external research, the purpose of the newly released report is to convey a knowledge and skills blueprint for current and future supply chain leaders.

    APICS Announces 2016 APICS and APICS SCC Board of Directors


    As selected by the 2015 APICS and APICS SCC Nominating Committees and accepted by the APICS Board of Directors, the following individuals will serve on the APICS and APICS SCC Boards as of January 1, 2016. Thanks to the APICS and APICS SCC Nominating Committees for their work in identifying and selecting candidates for recommendation to the Board.

    APICS Announces Early Registration Deadline for APICS 2015 Conference


    APICS, the premier professional association for supply chain and operations management, announced the early registration deadline for its annual conference on October 5-7 in Las Vegas.
