Alliances and Collaborations: Elevating the Profession, Increasing Access for APICS Members

APICS works with a variety of organizations to expand APICS member benefits and increase the profile of supply chain and operations management in the global marketplace. 

From dual memberships for student members with the American Society of Transportation and Logistics (AST&L) and the Association of Manufacturing Excellence (AME) to participation in the National Association of Manufacturing’s Manufacturing Institute—APICS is committed to collaborating with organizations to further the APICS mission.

Alliances to provide benefits to the APICS community 

  • APICS student members receive dual member benefits through AST&L and AME.
  • APICS members receive members-only savings and special access to Supply Chain Council’s SCORMark benchmarking.
  • APICS certification designees can waive certain requirements to earn the Certification in Transportation and Logistics designation from AST&L.

Supply Chain and Logistics Network

APICS has joined forces with AST&L, the Institute for Supply Management (ISM), the Manufacturing Skill Standards Council (MSSC), and the Warehousing Education and Research Council (WERC) to raise awareness of the services offered in a variety of industries, academia, and the government.

Manufacturing Institute

To raise the profile of APICS, APICS certifications, and the supply chain and operations management professions, APICS has joined the Manufacturing Institute’s Transportation, Distribution and Logistics (TDL) career pathway in manufacturing. The pathway includes stackable credentials from APICS and the Manufacturing Skills Standards Council (MSSC), and AST&L.
