Building an End-to-End Supply Chain: Berry Plastics Case Study

When Berry Plastics brought in teams of experts to evaluate its supply chain performance in 2015, they learned their supply chain maturity was lacking and, in fact, was in its infancy on the road to nirvana, achieving an integrated, end-to-end supply chain. Berry Plastics needed a strategy and a roadmap to get there, not an easy task for a company that completed almost 40 acquisitions in 30 years and grown to nearly $8B in revenue.

In this webinar, you'll hear how Berry Plastics achieved its supply chain goals. It established Centers of Excellence that leverage subject matter experts to evaluate best practices, create new processes, evaluate systems and tools, determine a repeatable implementation approach, then execute and train. They also created a multifaceted project portfolio, STEPs to Success: Streamline – Transform – Enable – Pursue. This approach allowed them to attack multiple areas within the supply chain to move the enterprise from reaction to integration.
