presenter Gregory Schlegel, CPIM, CSP, Jonah will explore essential knowledge for mitigating and managing uncertainty, complexity, and risk across the entire global value chain. In particular, attendees will gain proven strategies for alleviating supply chain uncertainty via the sales and operations planning (S&OP) process. The four key areas to be highlighted include profiling the new supply chain normal; supply chain risk management basics; the stages of S&OP maturity; and working with all stakeholders to anticipate, react and orchestrate a successful risk-management plan.

Gregory Schlegel is founder of the Supply Chain Risk Management Consortium. He teaches Supply Chain Risk at Lehigh and ERM at Villanova University. Greg has been a supply chain executive for over 30 years for several Fortune 100 companies. He was a Supply Chain Executive Consultant for IBM for seven years. He speaks more than 20 times a year at events around the globe and has authored more than 100 articles published in major supply chain magazines and journals. He and Dr. Robert Trent have co-published a new book, Supply Chain Risk Management: An Emerging Discipline. Greg is a former president of APICS.
