Notice of College Credit Discontinuation

Effective June 2020, ASCM will no longer offer transcripts for college credit under the National College Credit Recommendation Service (NCCRS). For any individuals who successfully completed their CSCP or Legacy CPIM exams from March 1997 – June 2020 will continue to have access to credit recommendations until December 31, 2020 and may request their transcript by contacting certification@ascm.org.

Students who completed exams beginning July 1, 2020 will not have access to credit recommendations. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact certification@ascm.org. 

Due to the impact of COVID-19, fulfillment of mailed transcripts will be delayed until further notice. We highly recommend sending an exam history report though My Account until fulfillment resumes.

You may earn college credit for passing APICS certification exams. The National College Credit Recommendation Service (CCRS) and the Canadian Supply Chain Sector Council (CSCSC) have college credit recommendations for current APICS CSCP and the legacy CPIM certification exams.

In the United States

Learn more about the CCRS recommendations. CCRS recommends the following credit hours toward bachelor's degrees for successful completion of APICS exams:

APICS Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) modules:

• Basics of Supply Chain Management: 3 semester hours (also may be applied to an associate's degree)
• Master Planning of Resources: 2 semester hours
• Detailed Scheduling and Planning: 2 semester hours
• Execution and Control of Operations: 2 semester hours
• Strategic Management of Resources: 3 semester hours

APICS Certified Supply Chain Professional: 3 credit hours
