Q: Where can I purchase the APICS CPIM online self-study courses?
A: These courses may be purchased online through the Shop APICS.

Q: Can I purchase the APICS CPIM online self-study courses for coworkers or friends?
A: The online courses are single-user licenses only. Each order is linked to the purchaser’s APICS ID, so the course must be purchased by the person taking the course. Download the complete APICS CPIM Online Course Terms and Conditions.

Q: How soon after the course is ordered is it available?
A: The course begins on the day of purchase and is available immediately.

Q: How do I access the APICS CPIM online course I purchased at Shop APICS?
Q: You will access the course through the APICS website. After you place your order, you will receive an e-mail with information on how to access the course and a link(s) to your individual course(s).

Q: How long do I have access to the course?
A: The course will be available for one year from the purchase date.

Q: Are the courses interactive?
A: Yes. All the courses include practice activities, exercises, and a quiz at the end. Answers to the quiz questions are linked back into the course for explanations.

Q: What are domains?
A: The courses are organized into domains, which are the main diagnostic areas within each module as outlined in the APICS CPIM Exam Content Manual.

Q: What are self assessments?
A: Self assessments are quizzes at the beginning of each course to help you evaluate your understanding of the subject matter and build a custom study plan based on your results and needs.

Q: What are body of knowledge courses?
A: The body of knowledge courses provide in-depth coverage of the concepts in each domain to increase your knowledge and help you prepare for the APICS CPIM exams.

Q: What are the minimum requirements for this course?
A: Internet Explorer version 5.5 or later is required; download the latest version at http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/internet-explorer/products/ie/home. Mac users: Please note that development for Internet Explorer on the Mac/OSX ceased at 5.3.2. Other browsers on the PC or Mac may function but are not supported. No support for non-IE browsers or for the Mac is promised or implied.

Adobe Shockwave/Flash is required. The latest version may be obtained at http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/

  • Cookie settings must be set to at least “medium.”
  • Pop-up blockers must be disabled.
  • Javascript or Active scripting must be enabled
  • Script Debugging is not a common problem, but occasionally script debugging will need to be disabled.
