About the Presenter

Antonio L Galvao Costa, CSCP

Antonio has more than 23 years of experience encompassing planning, logistics, sourcing, engineering, manufacturing, product portfolio management, marketing operations and a proven track record of managerial success in generating multimillion dollar cost savings and double-digit percentage improvements in both customer service levels and productivity. He has lived and worked in Brazil, England, United States, Switzerland and Netherlands leading local, regional and global teams. In his current role since 2013, as Vice President Supply Chain, he is leading two transformation initiatives in the external manufacturing and planning areas for Sealed Air Inc.

Antonio has a degree in Production Engineering and MBA from UFRJ in Brazil. He has also been the author of the “Working Green” department of APICS magazine since July 2008 and has presented at several conferences and seminars across the United States, Europe and Asia. He has served on the APICS Foundation Board since 2014 and has been a member of APICS Conference Content Committee since 2010.
