APICS Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) Exam in North America

Step one: apply for eligibility

All candidates need to apply for eligibility before taking the APICS CSCP exam. You must obtain eligibility before scheduling your APICS CSCP CBT exam. This can take approximately two weeks. Eligibility requirements for the APICS CSCP designation are:

  • Five (5) or more years of supply chain related work experience
  • Two (2) or more years of supply chain related work experience and at least one of the following:
    • APICS CFPIM, CPIM, or CIRM certification
    • C.P.M., CPSM, or CSM certification
    • Bachelor's Degree or the international equivalent *

*Related business experience is work that directly connects to some aspect of the supply chain, including:

  • raw materials extraction
  • transportation and logistics
  • procurement
  • manufacturing
  • warehousing
  • distribution
  • retail
  • customer service
  • software design and support
  • management
  • sales
  • quality control
  • skilled craft work (technician)

You will not qualify if you are in a clerical or administrative support position such as:

  • data entry
  • duplicating machine operator
  • file clerk
  • office machine operator
  • secretary
  • telephone operator
  • order clerk/unskilled labor position

**Equivalent of a bachelor's degree is defined as a level of study that would qualify you for a graduate program in the country where the undergraduate degree was earned.

Step two: request an Authorization to Test (ATT)

You must request and receive an Authorization to Test (ATT) email before scheduling an exam. Please carefully review the information in this email. If any information is incorrect, or needs to be updated, please contact APICS at exams@apics.org. Please have your APICS ID and authorization ID available.

Step three: schedule your APICS CSCP exam in North America

The APICS CSCP exam is administered through Pearson VUE, an independent service provider and expert in providing knowledge measurement services. To schedule your APICS CSCP exam, please access your My APICS account and navigate to Exam Authorizations and Credits under the Certifications tab.

APICS members $630 (US)
Nonmembers $830 (US)
Retake Fee* $450 (US)
*If you did not pass your previous APICS CSCP exam, or your cancellation from your previous APICS CSCP exam was not approved, you qualify for the retake fee.
