APICS Announces 2014 Board of Directors

Respected business leaders oversee APICS’ commitment

to advancing global supply chain excellence, innovation and resilience

                                                                                               

CHICAGO (January 24, 2014) –APICS,  the leading professional association for supply chain and operations management, today announced its 2014 Board of Directors that will oversee the organization and the services it provides to more than 37,000 members in more than 100 countries around the world.

The following directors will serve on the APICS Board as of January 1, 2014:

APICS’ initiatives for 2014 include hosting more than a dozen major conferences and professional education seminars in North and South America, Europe, Asia and the Middle East; a new streamlined certification maintenance process for the APICS Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) and APICS Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) designations; and deepened collaboration among members, customers and channel partners.

The nonprofit APICS Foundation is part of APICS and is led by a separate Board of Directors that oversees the foundation’s innovative research, education and talent development programs.
