2014 APICS Board of Directors Nominations Announced 

The APICS Officer Nominating Committee met July 24, 2013, to select candidates to serve as officers on the 2014 APICS Board of Directors.  I am pleased to inform you of the results of that meeting as reported by the committee chair, Tim Becker.

The APICS Bylaws provide the opportunity for additional officer applicants to be proposed through a petition process. Should any member wish to petition, the petition must contain the signatures of at least one percent of the voting membership.  Official petition forms may be obtained from Henri Wingfield, director of channel partner activities.  The deadline for a petition submission isSeptember 16, 2013

Should a valid petition be received, a mail ballot will be sent to the entire voting membership. Otherwise, the committee chair shall certify the ballot for candidates as proposed by the APICS Officer Nominating Committee and present it to the APICS Board of Directors for its consideration, at the September 27 board meeting. Installation of elected officers will take place at the January 2014 meeting of the APICS Board of Directors.
