Supply Chain STEM
Inspire the next generation of supply chain professionals
With the help and support of organizations and volunteers like you, we can overcome the future supply chain talent shortage through the Supply Chain STEM Educational Outreach Program. This program is designed for K-12 students to demonstrate the importance of supply chain management and the promising career paths available to them.
APICS's goal is to reach more than 100,000 students by 2020 through the Supply Chain STEM Educational Outreach Program. Your help is needed to meet our goal.
STEM activities for the classroom
The Supply Chain STEM Educational Outreach Program will offer three STEM activities broken down by grade level:
Each hands-on, interactive activity introduces students to the supply chain, while also teaching key concepts in science, technology, engineering and math (STEM).
APICS provides the tools and resources to deliver the programs, but the volunteers are needed to bring the program to the local schools, organizations and K-12 classrooms.
The STEM activity kits are easy to procure and certain materials will be made available from APICS, including instructions on where to purchase the additional components.
The Cell Phone Game for High School Students is available now! Additional STEM activities will be available in 2017.
