The African supply chain association and APICS Global Channel Partner is recognized for its commitment to advancing supply chain excellence
CHICAGO, IL – Sept. 29, 2018 – Today, APICS, the premier professional association for supply chain management, announced SAPICS as the recipient of the APICS Diamond Partner Award. The Diamond Partner Award honors APICS Global Channel Partners that exhibit extraordinary dedication and accomplishments in spreading the APICS mission, elevating the global standard for supply chain instruction and building a local community of APICS certified professionals. SAPICS was selected because of the organization’s world-class education, year-round calendar of professional development events and impressive annual conference and exhibition, which has become the leading event in Africa for supply chain professionals. Jenny Froome, chief operating officer, and Mungo Park, chairman, of SAPICS, accepted the award on behalf of SAPICS at the annual APICS 2018 supply chain conference.

The Diamond Partner Award was established to recognize excellence within the APICS Global Channel Partners program. This program provides a reliable structure to deliver APICS products and services, combined with the International Channel Partners' services, instruction, professional development and local expertise. Together, APICS and its partners aim to help motivated individuals in the supply chain profession, and those interested in pursuing a career in supply chain, expand their knowledge and capabilities through learning, certification, networking and other professional development opportunities.
