APICS Recognizes French Training Institute MGCM with Inaugural Diamond Partner Award at APICS 2017

 

New award honors outstanding APICS Global Channel Partner’s commitment to advancing supply chain excellence

SAN ANTONIO – Oct. 14, 2017 – Today, APICS, the association for supply chain management, announced that the professional training institute MGCM is the inaugural recipient of the APICS Diamond Partner Award. APICS honored the institute’s extraordinary dedication and accomplishments in spreading the APICS mission and elevating the global standard for supply chain instruction. MGCM President Anandi Roy accepted the award on behalf of the institute at APICS 2017, the premier supply chain conference and APICS’s flagship event.

“Since becoming an APICS Global Channel Partner, MGCM has demonstrated exceptional commitment to APICS’s mission of fostering the advancement of end-to-end supply chain management,” said APICS CEO Abe Eshkenazi, CSCP, CPA, CAE. “We are pleased to introduce this new award and honor MGCM for its continuous growth and efforts in bringing supply chain professionals into the APICS education, certification and membership communities.” 

Headquartered in Nanterre, France, MGCM has trained over 17,000 professionals from more than 2,600 companies and academic institutions since its establishment in 1988. The institute provides training programs in achieving logistics, supply chain, and operations management excellence for business executives and their employees. Through its support of the APICS Instructor Development Program, MGCM has helped to establish an elevated global standard and platform for instruction. As a result, the institute has been named an APICS Premier Elite Channel Partner.

APICS established the Diamond Partner Award to recognize APICS Global Channel Partners that exhibit outstanding year over year growth in their region, support the Instructor Development Program and work to promote the APICS mission globally. The Global Channel Partners program provides a reliable structure to deliver APICS products and services worldwide through localized instruction and professional development. It is made possible by the dedicated community of APICS-recognized instructors in the Instructor Development Program that helps members around the world pass exams and attain certifications. The Diamond Partner Award is open to all Global Channel Partners and will be granted on an annual basis at the discretion of the APICS Channel Services team.
