APICS 2017 introduces Women in Supply Chain Forum and flexible registration for attendees


CHICAGO – July 11, 2017 – APICS, the premier professional association for supply chain management, will host its flagship event, APICS 2017, at the Henry B. González Convention Center in San Antonio, Texas, October 15 – 17, 2017. This influential conference brings together 65+ educational sessions, 12 facility tours, and countless networking opportunities for its more than 2,000 attendees. This year, there are two new reasons to attend the industry’s leading supply chain conference:

  • Women in Supply Chain Forum
    • APICS 2017 attendees can be an essential part of APICS’s efforts to attract, promote and retain women in supply chain by joining the inaugural Women in Supply Chain Forum, held Tuesday, October 17, in conjunction with the main conference. Supply chain and diversity trailblazers will share insights regarding the new faces of supply chain leadership and the future of the field. Plus, participants in this special gathering will have the opportunity to network with one another and discuss opportunities and challenges.
  • Flexible Registration Pricing Options
    • In addition to registering for the full three days of the conference, attendees can register for Two-Day Conference, One-Day Conference, or Expo Only Preview passes. The latter, new for this year, is designed to provide an overview of the full conference and includes: two days of access to the Expo Hall and Spotlight Sessions, as well as interactive product and service demonstrations from a diverse array of innovative supply chain solution providers and access to the APICS 2017 Welcome Reception.

In addition, APICS will start the celebration its 60th anniversary at APICS 2017 in San Antonio. Attendees will be a part of activities commemorating APICS’s six decades of advancing and revolutionizing the supply chain profession.

APICS 2017 will continue to provide attendees with the opportunity to qualify for up to 24 professional development points to maintain CPIM, CFPIM, CSCP or CLTD designations. By attending one of three preconference seminars on S&OP, Risk Management and Distribution and Logistics attendees can earn contact hours toward the completion of an education certificate.
