APICS Research, Innovation, & Strategy Committee (RISC) Seeks Volunteers

APICS is the premier professional association for supply chain and operations management and the leading provider of research, education and certification programs that elevate supply chain excellence, innovation and resilience. APICS Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM), APICS Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) and APICS Supply Chain Operations Reference Professional (SCOR-P) designations set the industry standard. With over 43,000 members and more than 300 international partners, APICS is transforming the way people do business, drive growth and reach global customers.

An active and meaningful committee structure is essential to achieving the APICS mission and provides a mechanism for member involvement. Committee success depends on a strong partnership between volunteer leaders and staff members and clear roles and responsibilities. APICS committees are strategic in nature and function in alignment with the APICS strategic plan.

The Research, Innovation, & Strategy Committee (RISC) ensures APICS comprehends emerging trends, technologies and issues that will affect the practice of supply chain management in the future.  Moreover, the Committee aims to translate insights of strategic significance into actionable recommendations so APICS provides continued, meaningful thought-leadership to its stakeholders.
