Improved functionality and user experience grant supply chain professionals and students better access APICS resources

CHICAGO – December 12, 2016 – Today APICS, the premier professional association for supply chain management, announced the launch of its new website and the re-launch of its exclusive members-only community, the Supply Chain Channel.

The new website includes features that improve accessibility and navigation, which together enhance the online experience for visitors. In addition to the new site, APICS also announced the re-launch of the Supply Chain Channel, an online community of APICS members that allows users to interact and share knowledge. Both the new website and the Supply Chain Channel offer the APICS community streamlined access to important information and peer engagement.

APICS is constantly evolving to better serve the needs of our members, and this enhancement of our digital offering is in direct response to their needs. The new website and the re-launch of the Supply Chain Channel allow us to better provide our members with the online resources and services they need to develop professionally and succeed in their careers.

The site is designed to be accessible on any device, an important feature for the increasingly digital work environments of supply chain professionals and the growing need for mobile access to web resources. Additional updates include integration of a robust search tool to improve search functionality on the site and a streamlined interface for identifying new learning opportunities. These new features make it easier for supply chain students and professionals to explore the educational and professional resources APICS has to offer online.

The APICS Supply Chain Channel is an online forum for supply chain professionals to converse, ask questions, share news, and foster professional relationships. It serves as an important resource for the APICS community to further their expertise in supply chain management and expand professional networks.
