The Company
This company is one of the largest global manufacturing companies with over a 100-year history. They are also a leading producer of audio/visual products, information technology products, new media services, music education and resort facilities.

The Challenge
The company launched a major re-engineering initiative within a key internal organization. The bulk of the effort included introducing and enhancing their supply chain management systems, customer relationship management components and overall systems integration. Recognizing the complexity and potential impact on the business, the company awarded the analysis and design phase to one of the largest consulting firms in the industry.

Approximately one year into the project, and after a significant amount of time, internal effort and budgeted dollars invested, the project was postponed. The client's business requirements remained unresolved for another year until the Chief Operations Officer assumed control of the initiative.

The Results
The ProSavvy Affiliated Supplier delivered well above expectations. The firm delivered ahead of schedule and under budget as well. Also, the Affiliated Supplier will, now complete the supply chain management components that were originally outsourced to a firm outside of ProSavvy's network. The company has been so pleased with the ProSavvy experience, that it has elected to move forward with Phase II of the project (the design phase) using ProSavvy's Sourcing solution.
