The Oklahoma State University Student Chapter of APICS (chapter number S405) was chartered on February 15, 2017. A charter presentation ceremony was conducted on February 22, 2017 with the Oklahoma City Chapter parent sponsor and many members of the faculty and staff attending.

Pranav Kulkarni served as the first president of the new chapter.  He and the student board of directors actively worked to organize guest speakers and tours with industry to help students connect their course subject matter to real world applications.
