Association for Manufacturing Excellence (AME) Dual Membership

Effective July 1, 2009, APICS is pleased to announce that all APICS student members will enjoy dual membership with the Association for Manufacturing Excellence (AME).

Through AME, all current APICS student members will benefit from

• A subscription to the award-winning Target magazine, published six times per year.
• Discounted member prices for AME’s annual International Lean Conference, as well as its regional conferences, seminars, and workshops.
• Access to member-only resources on AME’s Web sites, ame.org and Target.ame.org.
• The ability to dialogue and share resources with other AME members through the new social networking site, AMEConnect (Connect.ame.org).
• Consideration for scholarships offered by the AME Institute to attend special AME events and industry conferences such as the Lean Accounting Summit to be held in September 2009.

How to Receive Your AME Benefits
Current APICS student members will receive their new member benefit information directly from AME by August 1, 2009. Newly joined APICS student members will receive their benefit information from AME within a month of joining APICS.
