APICS Career Center
Student members have full access to the APICS Career Center. Students can use the site to get a jump start on their career by applying for jobs online and posting their résumés online for review by potential employers. Student members can also subscribe to the job alerts service which provides e-mail alerts when new listings are posted that meet specific criteria. Students can read relevant publications on topics such as interviewing techniques and résumé and cover letter writing by viewing APICS Career Development Tools.
Affiliated Student Chapters
APICS has more than 170 affiliated student chapters on college campuses throughout North America. A student chapter's affiliation with an APICS professional chapter provides students with access to educational programs, networking opportunities, certification exams, and other resources that will help build a stronger career. Scholarships are awarded by APICS professional chapters based on participation in APICS activities, as well as academic achievement. Students pay just $99 to attend the APICS International Conference & Expo. This premier event is attended by more than 5,000 professionals who come together to explore the latest industry trends and techniques. A complimentary benefit to all conference attendees, access the APICS Live Learning Center—an online resource where you can download educational session PowerPoints, access MP3s of the presentation synced to the PowerPoint slides, and review all session handouts.
