APICS recognizes outstanding student contributions in membership, volunteerism, and
leadership.

Scholars Education Program
The APICS Scholars Education Program selects students to attend the APICS International Conference and Expo with expenses fully or partially paid by APICS. Students have the opportunity to attend presentations and meet with featured and educational session speakers, network with conference attendees, and visit the APICS exposition. Educational and Research (E&R) Foundation
The APICS Educational and Research (E&R) Foundation offers many opportunities for students to expand their résumés. Students are eligible for

• The Plossl Doctoral Dissertation Competition provides an opportunity for students to receive recognition for timely dissertations in the operations management industry. The E&R Foundation grants awards of $2,500 for dissertations in special interest areas.
• E&R Foundation Grants are available ranging from $1,000 to $5,000.
