This first session will cover how you can deal with the initial emotion and confusion of losing your job. How do you first take inventory of what you will be faced with going forward? How do you get on track professionally while still taking care of things at home? Get back to the fundamentals and refocus. The thought of it can be overwhelming, but it’s necessary. How can you check your attitude and make to right decisions now to start the comeback.

Session Two | Vision. Get Yourself Out There

Now that you're refocused and calmed down from the initial shock of being unemployed, what should you do? This session will help you get back on track. Where do you get started and how do you "get out there?" For some, it may be the first time looking for a job in many years. The presenter will examine both high- and low-tech ways to make job seekers marketable and visible. When you have networking opportunities: how do you invest your time for maximum efficiency?

Session Three | Moving Forward and Getting Ahead

Now that you are out there with some good leads on jobs, or with a career redefinition how are you positioning yourself for the future? If you are in a negotiation for a new job make sure you protect yourself in the future. How can you best negotiate a deal for employment? Don't undersell yourself because you are unemployed. How can you prevent this from happening again or prepare yourself for the future?
