Exam Application Procedures
Before you can register for the exam, you must complete an eligibility application and receive an authorization to test notice from APICS. If you have a question about your eligibility, read the guidelines.
NOTE: The CSCP is now available via computer-based testing (CBT) as well as in paper and pencil format. If you register for the paper and pencil version of the CSCP exam, you will NOT have the opportunity to switch to the CBT version of the exam. Likewise, you will not be able to switch from CBT to paper and pencil.

*If you did not pass your previous APICS CSCP exam, or your cancellation from your previous APICS CSCP exam was not approved, you qualify for the retake fee.

APICS CSCP Computer Based Testing (CBT) Registration Procedure
- Have your APICS ID number available as listed on your eligibility confirmation/approval to test email. Note that Pearson VUE requires the APICS ID number in the format APICS0000000, so you will need to add APICS in front of your ID number when Pearson VUE requests it.
- Go to www.pearsonvue.com/apics
- Click on "Certified Supply Chain Professional" for registration instructions, including how to receive member and retake pricing, as well as the option to register online or by phone.
NOTE: If you are a retake candidate but have not taken the CSCP via CBT, you will need to contact APICS Customer Support to purchase a retake voucher so that Pearson VUE does not charge you the full price. Retake candidates who have already taken the CSCP via CBT can register directly with Pearson VUE using the promo code CSCPRetake.
APICS CSCP Paper and Pencil Registration Procedure
Read the Domestic APICS CSCP Certification Bulletin.
Complete the registration form located inside the bulletin and submit it to the cerification department with your payment or access the online registration form.
After registering for the CSCP exam, you will receive a confirmation e-mail from APICS within 10 days. There will be a follow up confirmation, with exam site information two weeks prior to the exam. If you have not received your original confirmation within 10 days of your registration, please contact APICS Certification Department at 773-867-1777 or email cscpexam@apics.org. This applies to Domestic candidates only.
NOTE: The minimum required number of registrations to open an exam site in North America is 10 registrations. APICS reserves the right to close any paper and pencil site that does not meet the minimum number of required registrations. A computer-based version of the exam will be available. If you elect to register for the paper and pencil version of the CSCP instead of the computer-based version, and APICS decides to close your selected site, you will be contacted and offered the opportunity to select a different paper and pencil site, receive a voucher for the computer-based version of the exam, or receive a refund of your exam fees.
