Manufacturing Software Solutions Providers Featured at
2004 APICS International Conference and Exposition
Alexandria, VA (September 8, 2004) The exhibit hall doors will open at the 2004 APICS International Conference and Exposition October 10-13, 2004, in San Diego, California, with more than 100 leading solutions providers of supply chain management, manufacturing execution systems, MRP/ERP, logistics, materials management, and CRM software on the exhibit floor.
Leaders in software, systems, services, and information technology will be present on Monday and Tuesday, October 11-12, to demonstrate their products that provide solutions to challenges facing manufacturers today.
Exhibitors will share their expertise at these featured sessions.
Sudipta Bhattacharya, vice president of manufacturing application solutions, SAP, will discuss the impact of supply-delivery cycle times on safety stock inventory, the correlation between cycle time and demand variability and impact on inventory levels, and the optimal levels of inventory needed under various fill rate policies.

Dennie Norman, strategist, SAS, will offer solutions to aid enterprises in gaining efficiencies and reducing inventory by making customer demand the principal driver of supply chain fulfillment strategies.
