APICS Announces Interactive CPIM Online Workshops

Alexandria, VA (June 30, 2004) APICS—The Educational Society for Resource Management announces the availability of new interactive online workshops for its Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) program from Fox Valley Technical College (FVTC) of Appleton, Wisconsin. The FVTC online certification review courses join those provided by Weber State University in providing a virtual resource for candidates studying for the APICS exams.

The FVTC workshops provide an in-depth review of the five modules of the CPIM program: Basics of Supply Chain Management, Master Planning of Resources, Detailed Scheduling and Planning, Execution and Control of Operations, and Strategic Management of Resources.

"APICS is pleased to offer these interactive online courses to provide an additional study tool for busy professionals seeking to earn the CPIM designation," said Arnold E. Kennedy, CFPIM, CIRM, Jonah, 2004 APICS president.

To learn more about the courses, visit the Fox Valley Technical College Web site at http://www.fvtc.edu/cpim. For more about additional CPIM exam preparation options, including APICS chapter review courses and national workshops, visit the APICS Web site at http://www.apics.org/Certification/.
