APICS Exposition Offers Solutions, Education, and Resources to Solve Today's Business Challenges

Alexandria, VA (September 12, 2002) Resource management professionals will find answers to their e-commerce, c-commerce, supply chain management, CRM, systems integration, MRP/ERP, and other business process questions on the exhibit floor at the 2002 APICS International Conference and Exposition, October 27-30, in Nashville, Tennessee.

Leaders in software, systems, services, and information technology will be on the exhibit floor with live demonstrations and best practices that provide solutions to enhance business growth, profits, and efficiency.

The APICS Manufacturing Showcase Theater will feature in-depth educational sessions on such topics as supply chain management, collaboration, value chain synchronization, product life management, obsolescence management, and bar coding. The nine presenters are leading solutions providers such as Oracle, SAP America, PolyPlan, and Intentia Americas.

For the first time, conference attendees will have the opportunity to recognize exhibitors for their significant contributions and performance excellence in the resource management industry at APICS P3 (Poster Presentation Pavilion). Votes will be cast during exposition hours in four categories. They are Solutions Provider, acknowledging partnership between a solutions provider and corporate customer; Supplier Partnership, recognizing a partnership between a supplier and corporate customer; Industry Advancement, honoring the development of a new technique or product; and Best of Show, identifying the best product or service on the exhibit floor.

The annual APICS International Conference and Exposition is the premier educational and networking event for resource management professionals. This year's program features more than 100 educational sessions on such topics as collaboration, demand pipeline management, supplier relationship management, global business issues, and professional development management.
