Abe Eshkenazi Joins APICS as Executive Director and COO
Alexandria, VA (May 4, 2006) APICS The Association for Operations Management announced today that its board of directors has appointed Abe Eshkenazi, CPA, CHE as Executive Director and Chief Operating Officer. Eshkenazi will join APICS on May 22, 2006.
“APICS is poised for an incredible future, and Abe Eshkenazi possesses the kind of leadership and experience we need to leverage the opportunities before us and succeed in today’s complex global marketplace,” said 2006 President of APICS’ Board of Directors, Nicholas M. Testa, CFPIM, CIRM.

Eshkenazi brings more than 20 years of association and operations management experience to his new post at APICS. He offers a background rich in leveraging strategic alliances, business development, and staff development. Prior to joining APICS Eshkenazi served as Managing Director of the Operations and Information Technology Group at RSM McGladrey, a leading national business consulting, accounting, and tax firm.
Previously Eshkenazi served as Vice President and Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer of the American College of Healthcare Executives, and Vice Chancellor Finance and Chief Financial Officer for City Colleges of Chicago. A graduate of the Kellogg School of Management of Northwestern University and DePaul University, Eshkenazi is a Certified Public Accountant and a Certified Healthcare Executive. He is also a member of the Illinois CPA Society, the American Society of Association Executives, and the American College of Healthcare Executives.
