By Metro: Take Metrorail’s Blue Line to the Van Dorn Street Station. From the Van Dorn Street Station, take Fairfax Connector Bus Route 321 to Edsall Road and Cherokee Avenue. APICS is a 100-yard walk (approximately one block) from the nearest bus stop. Call Metro Transit Information at (202) 637-7000 for further information.

Visitor Parking: There is ample above ground parking for your convenience. Please proceed to the receptionist when you enter the building. Visitors are advised that the parking garage is reserved for employee parking only: A security card is needed to enter the building from the garage.

From Points North, DC/National Airport (including Arlington County, Virginia): Take I-395 South toward Richmond to Exit 2B, Edsall Road/VA-648 West. At the first traffic light, make a right onto Cherokee Avenue. Continue straight to the next traffic light, where Shawnee Road begins. APICS is the next-to-last building on the right on Shawnee Road.

From Old Town Alexandria: Take Route 7 to I-395 South toward Richmond to Exit 2B, Edsall Road/VA-648 West. Follow directions provided above from Edsall Road/VA-648W exit.

From Points East and Northeast (Anne Arundel, Carroll, Howard, and Prince George’s Counties in Maryland): Follow I-495 East via the Woodrow Wilson Bridge to I-395 North toward Washington, DC. From I-395 North, take exit 2B, Edsall Road West. At the first traffic light, make a right onto Cherokee Avenue. Continue straight through the next traffic light to Shawnee Road. APICS is the next-to-last building on the right on Shawnee Road.

From Points West and Northwest (including Fairfax County and Loudoun County, Virginia and Frederick and Northern areas of Montgomery County): Follow I-495 West via the American Legion Bridge to the Braddock Road/VA-620 East exit. Continue on Braddock Road to the second traffic light. Make a right onto Backlick Road/VA-648. Make a left at the first traffic light onto Edsall Road. Follow Edsall Road for approximately one mile. Make a left at the third traffic light onto Cherokee Avenue. Continue straight to the next traffic light, the beginning of Shawnee Road. APICS is the next-to-last building on the right on Shawnee Road.

From Falls Church: Take Annandale Road across Route 50/Arlington Boulevard Continue on Annandale Road until it intersects with Gallows Road. Make a left onto Gallows Road. (Directions continue in next section.)

From Annandale: Follow Backlick Road South to the intersection of Backlick Road and Edsall Road. Make a left onto Edsall Road and stay on Edsall for approximately one mile. Make a left at the third traffic light onto Cherokee Avenue. Continue straight to the next traffic light, the beginning of Shawnee Road. APICS is the next-to-last building on the right on Shawnee Road.

From Richmond and Points South: Take I-95 North to I-395 North to the Edsall Road West exit. At the first traffic light, make a right onto Cherokee Avenue. Continue straight. APICS is the next-to-last building on the right on Shawnee Road.
