Global Sales Representative
This is a new sales position created to develop, plan, execute and follow-up on sales efforts for APICS knowledge solutions, worldwide. He or she will manage the leads-to-sales process, work proactively to identify organizations' needs and match them with the appropriate APICS knowledge solution, interface with clients and staff to develop ongoing business relationships, and sell value-added solutions to current and prospective clients. This individual will be expected to sell a minimum of $500,000 annually. Consultative solution-sales approach to the sale of solutions, products and services will be required. His or her territory will be new and existing major accounts. Prospecting and cold calling in new markets while maintaining and expanding services to existing clients will be required.
We require a minimum of three years of related sales experience and a proven track record in consultative selling of knowledge products and services through networking, referrals, prospecting, and cold calling. Considerable discretion and independent judgment with regard to matters of significant financial interest will be required. Must possess effective word processing skills and the ability to use relational databases and computer fields to generate reports and create forecast documents. Strong command of the English language required. Must possess a valid driver's permit and passport. BA/BS/BBA in marketing or other relevant field strongly preferred.
