APICS Corporate Awards of Excellence

Q: What are the Corporate Awards of Excellence?
A: These awards recognize companies for significant contributions and performance excellence in the production and inventory management industry. There are three categories: education, innovation in sustainability, and technology partnership.

The education award focuses on an organization's commitment to education investment and productivity based on the application of educational concepts.

The innovation in sustainability award recognizes the development of a new technique or product that has significantly advanced the production and inventory management industry.

The technology partnership award spotlights the types of success that can be reached when a technical provider and a corporate client work together.

Q: Does a company have to be a member of APICS to apply?
A: No.

Q: What is the entry deadline date?
A: June 30.

Q: How do I receive an information package?
A: Call APICS Customer Support at (800) 444-APICS (2742) or (773) 867-1777 and request stock #82048.

Q: Who selects the recipients?
A: A panel composed of certified industry experts, industry analysts, media representatives, and academicians.

Q: What recognition will a company receive if selected as a recipient?
A: A commemorative award, recognition in APICS publications, acknowledgment in industry and business publications, use of the APICS Corporate Awards of Excellence logo, and accolades at the APICS International Conference and Exposition.

 

Voluntary Service, Student Voluntary Service, and Student Chapter Mentor,  also referred to as individual awards

Q: What is the purpose of these awards?
A: To honor APICS volunteers who have made outstanding contributions to the society, chapters, student chapters, other professional organizations, the production and inventory management industry, and the community.

Q: How do I qualify for these awards?
A: Your chapter or APICS committee is the nominator. The nominee must meet or exceed the requirements indicated on the application.

Q: Who selects the recipients?
A: A team of experienced volunteers determines the recipients. A team of expert practitioners reviews and selects the best article from the quarterly issues of the P&IM Journal.

Q: What are the entry deadlines?
A: Completed entries must be postmarked by May 31 for the Voluntary, Student Voluntary, and Student Chapter Mentor awards.

Q: How do I receive an application?
A: You can download an application or call APICS Customer Support at
(800) 444-APICS (2742) or (773) 867-1777 and request the Voluntary Service Award application (stock #01033), Student Voluntary Service Award application (stock #01008), or the Student Chapter Mentor Award application (stock #01005).
