The APICS Corporate Awards of Excellence offer the opportunity to showcase your brightest ideas and your most effective solutions, receive recognition from your peers, and reflect on the challenges and successes of your business.
Corporate Awards of Excellence Categories
Education Award of Excellence
The education award focuses on an organization's commitment to education investment and productivity improvements based on the application of the APICS body of knowledge.
Innovation in Sustainability Award of Excellence
The innovation in sustainability award recognizes the development of a new technique or product that has significantly advanced a company’s productivity of profitability.
Technology Partnership Award of Excellence
This award recognizes a partnership between a technology solutions provider and a corporate customer, where the product has increased a company's success.

Official Rules
Judging Criteria
Each award category will be judged based on criteria for that specific award. These criteria reflect the unique nature and scope of the specific award.
Honoree Selection
Award applications are reviewed by a judging panel composed of industry experts holding an APICS certification, industry analysts, media representatives, and academicians. The judging panel's decisions are final.
Eligibility
Both APICS member and nonmember companies may submit entries for the APICS Corporate Awards of Excellence. The primary company listed on the entry form is considered the entrant and must have had primary involvement with the project implementation. For the Technology Partnership Award include primary company first; software provider second.
The product and/or service must have been developed and/or implemented between January 1 of the prior year and April 1 of the current year.
Entries
Only one entry per category per company will be accepted. Complete a separate entry form for each entry.
Submission Guidelines
Supporting Materials
To provide necessary detail and ensure consistency in judging, prepare the narrative portion of the entry according to the respective requirements on the entry form. Questions should be answered in the order that they appear. Your narrative document must be a maximum of four 8½-by-11-inch pages using a minimum font size of 10 points.
Other collateral materials or samples may be included if they are directly applicable to your entry; however, they will not be returned. The entire entry must not exceed 10 pages.
Entries Should Include
- The narrative with all answers completed
- A completed entry form
- Payment.
Payment
Fees: APICS Member $75, Nonmember $100*
* Nonmembers: Join APICS and save 25 percent on the entry fee and at least 20 percent on all APICS educational resources at www.apics.org/join.
Deadline
The 2008 APICS Corporate Awards of Excellence submissions must be faxed or postmarked by June 30, 2008.
